FAMILY OUTRIDES
Join us for a relaxing leisure ride through the Sun Valley countryside. Rides are 2 hours including mounting and dismounting. After the ride, we sit and have juice and muffins under our gazebo area. All rides are accompanied by a Sun Valley coach, beginner riders may be led for safety.
Bespoke family or group rides welcome.
The weight limit is 85 Kg
PONY RIDE & GROOM
(riders aged 4 yrs +)
Book a fun and friendly pony experience for your child, a gentle introduction to the world of horses.
This experience is a 15-minute groom and decorate and a 15-minute pony lead. ( total time 30 minutes)
R250 per person
PONY PARTIES
Our beautiful ponies will make your child’s birthday magical. We offer pony parties for children aged 4 to 12 years, and 3 hours of supervised party fun for groups of up to 20 children. Adults relax while children enjoy a led pony ride, groom a pony, decorate a pony or party games all supervised by our knowledgeable coaches and grooms. We can accommodate groups of up to 20 children in an outdoor setting. Tables, chairs gazebo, an urn, coffee and tea are all provided. Balloons and ribbons in the party colours are included. All food and extra decorations must be brought along – set up 30 minutes before the start.
PONY CAMP
(riders aged 6 - 16 yrs)
Exciting, fun filled camp days are offered during school holidays or over weekends. Children ride twice per day, usually a lesson during the morning and a ride through the countryside in the afternoon. The children have the opportunity to learn valuable horse care skills such as feeding, grooming leading tacking up. Learning these skills improves knowledge and understanding of horses which is important for developing confidence. Join us for traditional games, fun with friends and the best pony experiences.
Pony camp rate is R700.00 per day, includes lunch and morning and afternoon tea.
LEASING AFTERNOONS
(current clients only)
Spend the afternoon with your favourite horse or pony. This is a time for riders to bond and care for their favourite horse. This experience includes a 1 hour supervised self-ride or outride. Children to be supervised by a coach at all times but they will have the freedom to spend time with the pony and friends.
SUN VALLEY SHOWS
(current clients only)
In-house shows provide the opportunity for riders to experience a friendly home competition. Riders compete against others of a similar level in 4 classes, winners receive rosettes. Build confidence for competition in a friendly and supportive environment.
Shows start at 8 am and finish at 12.00.
